The new car of the week is the Acura NSX. I like the fact that older models are finally getting affordable! Plenty out there for under $30k.
Results are posted - I paxed a 970! Much higher than my previous best, which was just last week. Link to results.
After seeing the course map (pdf) for today's autocross last week, I thought it would be a good idea to head down there. The course was just as fun as it looked! I think I turned a decent time, so I'm hoping results will be up soon. Dave took some pics at the event - a bunch with my camera, and some with his. As always, full size pics are available.
As you may have noticed, I added a car of the week feature on the left column. I've been meaning to comment on them as I post them...basically, whatever car I'm liking that week becomes the CotW.
The first one was a TDI Jetta. I liked the idea of low-end torque, pretty good mileage, and a generally useful car (and I still sorta miss my old Jetta).
Week 2 belonged to the 3rd generation RX7, just because it's one of the coolest cars out there. :-P
Week 3 was the 850 Csi, 12 cylinders of goodness in a great-looking body.
And this week, the Aston Martin DB5 - James Bond's car of choice for several movies, including one of my favorites, Goldfinger.
After a long break, the first autocross of the season was on Sunday. It was great! The course was more fun than I would have guessed from the course walk, and I had my best pax score ever. On top of that, about 15 Integras showed up - 12 or so more than usual.
I finally went and bought a portable mp3 player this weekend - the iRiver iFP-380T.

The link has all the specs on it. It's tiny, easy to use, and it's on sale at Best Buy this week. The only downside is that it doesn't include the arm band, which is included on the 256MB and 512MB versions.
